We’re just getting poured upon, uncommonly heavy rain. Usually here, it just mists.
Jane has some hope of straightening out her computer: software guys are suggesting a power management adjustment. Crossing fingers.

It was a bit of a blow, for sure: http://www.krem.com/
26,000 without power and a town without water.
“I saw it first! It’s mine!” 🙂
Most of the day it was fairly solid, if light, rain. But trailing behind in late afternoon there was a short, heavy downpour here at home. I looked at Portland’s NWS Radar and it was pretty streaky, running in squall lines. But for the short period I watched the loop the heavy bits were running down the line, rather than the line sweeping across.
No storms here this week, but a spatter of rain briefl¥ this morning.
Apparently, I missed a delivery. Two smallish boxes. But the shipper listed them as Delivered, signed for by “Lemon,” in all caps. Hmm. So I think the packages were delivered to the wrong address, or more likely, the delivery guy thought he’d get freebies. There’s a magnifying light and pocket LED flashlights. I waws counting on these. So tomorrow, I get to call someone, if my packages don’t mysteriously appear on my doorstep after all. Not that I expect they’ll reappear. “Lemon” looks like code for a bad address. But that should be noted differently, as an attempted, failed delivery, if that were the case.
Grumble. I didn’t need the extra complication and delay and hassle.
Going to read in a textbook or two tonight, some study time. This may include listening to language CD audio, if I don’t take up all my time with the other two books.
Turns out, I recorded audio instead. I got a call-back to record lines for a new, additional scene. Yay!
Congrats!
