In a bit of mental attic rearranging as I prepare to enter the Alliance-Union universe for a new book—I decided—why not do a piece for Closed Circle that encapsulates the history behind it. It’s a short story, but sort of a fictional history sort of story that some of you may like, that will at present planning not be part of the book, just a stand-alone bridge from us to there.
Working on a short piece right now…an Alliance-Union history.

So looking forward to seeing the history piece and the new AU novel 🙂
I love that Finity has that audaciously plain big black spot with the silver circle around it for the ship’s name. Something so simple that others would never think to do that for their ship’s patch.
, because it seemed too simple.
Dublin Again’s shamrock, and both ships’ liking of silver for their formals.
Lucy / Le Cygne’s need to vary the ship’s patch and name to protect ship and sole crew, until Merchanter’s Luck changed all that.
I was just reminded how bold and plain and simple, but how daring and a bit contrary to usual thought, it was for Finity to have that black circle patch. Great idea by the author. Great for logo / graphic design too.
