OMG, it’s not just me then! THANK YOU! You have no idea how much better I feel realizing I’m not the only one who spins wheels working out what has to happen for that one critical sentence to work. Suddenly, that chill wind blowing down from your neck of the coast feels so much warmer!
CJ. When you get a chance you may want to change the picture of Intruder to that of Tracker.
My picture display is broken…been broken for a while. I’ll see if I can crank the thing into a modern version, but the last time I tried it froze things.
Speaking of Tracker, finally got my mits on it, and I’m already yelling at the characters. This of course means, if it were a physical copy, i’d probably wear it out 🙂 $11 well spent
Tracker has arrived in all its forms, hardback, ebook, and audiobook. Now to finish re-reading Chanur’s Venture, read the rest of Inheritor, and then be ready to skip ahead to Tracker.
Jane’s slide show is excellent, and I’ll comment when I’ve read all the text and looked over the images again.
Slightly off-topic: I’ve just received the script for Episode 3 of Star Trek: Shadows of Tyranny. This is great news, it’s finally here and I can record lines once I’ve done a read-through and practiced it. Episode 2 is now in post-production, which is good news. Episode 1 premiered on Sunday, and is available at their site for streaming or download, as well as via iTunes or other podcast feed (free) to subscribe.
Mirror Chekov hasn’t made it to captain yet. 😀 But chances are, he’ll scream some. 😀
(Things you learn doing audio voice work: “That was great! Could you give us another two or three minutes of screaming?” Bwahaha! — Apparently, this is not uncommon. 😀 )
Those are very good pictures of an extraordinary exhibition. She really talks us through the whole exhibition-experience, giving me a sense of Wow! Very well done!
My parents had seen some of it, years (decades?) ago, but nothing like the way this was all put together. I’m glad you had a chance to go, despite the flu; it looks like a very special experience.
(I did comment on her blog, right after looking at it, but was still wordless absorbing it then)
On a different topic, may I say that I love how you’ve finessed Irene? I think that’s non-spoilery to be safe enough. I also love what you’ve set up for the new adventure; and now I won’t say anything more about it until the motatorium is past.
Moratorium, not mota! Sorry, typing on my phone causes so many typos I often don’t catch all of them.
