Jane and I are finishing the edit, Betsy is eagerly awaiting same, and we are doing ok—some family illness issues have slowed us (Jane’s side) and we are trying to take care of that while finishing the edit, so be patient with us.
I tripped and fell on Tuesday, rolling my right ankle. I saw my primary care physician (pcp) Tuesday afternoon. I was able to stand and walk on it and neither of us thought it was broken, but we decided to have x-rays because I have osteoporosis. X-rays were taken Wednesday. Tech at x-ray clinic said I’d have results by Thursday after the radiologist had a chance to examine the x-rays. I’d been home less than an hour when my pcp’s assistant called. The ankle IS broken, but no surgery is needed if I behave myself. I’ll be fitted for a walking boot on Friday afternoon, but I guess that means no dance party for my birthday on Sunday.
Oh my! Indeed the only dancing you should do is heavy-boot clomping (which is a darn sight less spritely than clogging). Heal well!
