I set max width to 1366, which is my monitor width, on which the display of the center column ain’t too bad. Lemme know if this improves the appearance on the superhuge monitors!
Another invasion has occurred!

That mysterious ninja was Jane, who has done a thing for people with superwide monitors.
I’ve got a 27 inch monitor. Your website looks great!
If the left and right columns are set using pixels (px) or ems (em), you can still use percentages (%) for the center column’s max-width and min-width.
Checking WWAS on an iPhone, it looks fine. On my widescreen laptop, it looks fine also. So, no need to fiddle with the .css style settings again. 🙂
I’d post this on Jane’s blog normally, but given her distress over her endangered documents, I’ll put it here on this closely related thread:
When I click on the eBooks or Cafe press pictures at the top of the front page of the CC site, it just pops the pictures up as a thumbnail instead of taking me to the site. Is this intentional?
Same for me, and they used to be links. I’m on a Mac using Firefox 3.6.7
Sandor…thanks for the thought! I’m doing fine. Actually pretty good. See my post. This accident alerted me to some serious treasures.
Youse guys are soooo nice!
Sandor and AnneB, there’s a sane explanation for HOW it happened (slight page revision)—but the good answer is, easy fix, and it will be, just about instantly.
Thank you so much for letting us know! You guys are wonderful!
Thanks, guys. All fixed!
When you put a pic up, there’s an option to attach a link. The default is the full sized image. I did something to screw up the table that holds the buttons and had to zap and replace it…I just forgot to put in the correct links.
Ooops. Thanks!
