The second requirement? Read the righthand sidebar.
I’m going to give everybody the rest of the week to get me that letter. My addy is reachable on that blue header that has several clickables like About Me and Contact.
After that every new applicant will have a week to get me that letter.
The stack is getting too large to deal with delicately: if no letter, I have to assume you’re a spammer. I just got ten who can’t spell hotmail and another lot from Russia and an international fakeout addy. So I need to clear out some who’ve been hanging fire for a long time because they COULD be legit.
Sorry, anybody who gets caught in the clear-out.
Well, I’m relieved to confirm to myself that even as a grandmother, I can still read, follow instructions and think 🙂 Thank you so much for welcoming me into Wave Without A Shore this week, after lurking for a long time. I’m so sorry you’re plagued by so many bots and spammers!
Hello to everyone here. I’ve so greatly enjoyed all your writing and comments for such a long time, I thought it most polite to come out of hiding and say “Hello” and “Thank You”. My biggest Thanks go to Ms. Cherryh for the years and all the delightful words I’ve enjoyed for so long. I’m off to begin re-reading the Fortress series until such time as new words appear …

there does not seem to be a right hand sidebar!
You are not seeing the TO REGISTER? Are you using a computer or a phone?
It’s on the front page, not the individual posts.
One or both sidebars (left and right) may bump down below the central portion if the screen size goes below a certain factor. That’s a characteristic of the WordPress template design, and happens with what are called “responsive” or “fluid” newer web designs, intended to accommodate mobile devices, tablets and pads, notebooks and laptops, and desktop regular or widescreen monitors. Oh, the modern age, ain’t it somethin’? And yes, that can confuse new or experienced visitors.
It’s one of those oddities we all put up with, intended to help more people, that does things that are not always expected, unless you know what’s going on with that sort of thing. (I know CSS3 and HTML5, and keeping up with the newest stuff can be challenging.)
Your snicker for the day: Zorro has the feline equivalent of a deviated septum, as far as we can tell. That along with her bad teeth makes her snore loudly and frequently, as well as purr like a motorcycle. This morning Her Gruntiness discovered a new trick. Her nose caused her to chirp like a cricket for several minutes. Freaked us right out.
Lol! What a love!
And Jane love, love, loves the packet!
Wow, I am in ! Finally found out what I was doing wrong, duh the letter. And now I can join you after spending months just reading. You seem like a great bunch
Welcome!
