Uh… rest harder?
Off-Topic Slightly: Patricia Briggs’ upcoming novel, Fire Touched, in the Mercy Thompson series, is now showing for pre-order on Amazon. They’re showing an expected March, 2016 publication date, a bit after my birthday, but soon enough to cout. 🙂
Howver, as of yet, they don’t have a cover art image showing. Instead, it’s wording in Helvetica Medium giving the title, series, and author, white print on black and blue backgrounds.
When I saw that cover, I wondered what was going on, since her books always have good cover paintings. But once I saw it’s still early in the release cycle, then I realized it’s just a temporary image until they have the final art in. …. Or else someone slipped up and they’ll correct with the proper image soon.
Nice to see another book out. — I’m behind in reading anything, but have been making (maybe) a little progress in, well, learning how to write…I think. One doubts oneself in these matters. On se doute en ces matières.
Even more OT:
At work, when customers see me at the cutting table, showing them where the fabrics are an telling them whatever I know of them, and then they see me running the register, they are often surprised. I’ve started saying,”Once upon a time there was a little girl who thought that she could do everything”. Some of them reply, “And she could”. I then will say, “But she found that she had to do them one at a time”. All laugh.
Don’t be trying to do it all at one time, okay?
Tommie, you are such a super person, you know that? :hugs:
Thank you very kindly! I don’t quite see why you say so, but I do rather like myself most of the time!
Why? ‘Cause your attitude is terrific and you always come across as friendly, caring, smart, and sensible, with a neat sense of humor. Such qualities are rare and deserve to be appreciated. That’s why. 🙂
To me, all of youse guys seem that way. That’s why I’m comfortable here. Too, beauty is where you look for it.
Tommie, I agree with you. I’ve experienced communities like this just a few times online, but I think on the whole, they’re pretty rare and to be treasured as long as they last. Everybody, stand up and take a bow! 🙂
