Oh I don’t have pics. But I made a stir. All those cats lost! Council is “debating”. And I somehow have two new kitties. Neglected but ok. Vet says … well doesn’t matter. I’m snared. The old one is jealous but accepting. And they are fearless. And, of course, adorable. Here’s the thing – WHO WOULD DO THIS TO CATS and how can I find them? It’s depression hitting my mind. I can’t stand anymore heartache.
Interesting that the need for good coffee (or tea!) in space would lead to a low-gee coffee machine, odd cups, and probably a better understanding of fluid dynamics in zero-g and micro-g. If it results in better shower and toilet facilities in space too, that’s a big improvement.
But hey, I could sympathize with the need for good tea and coffee in space. A zip pouch and straw for cola/aoda? OK, no biggie. For juice, that’s fine. For iced tea, could be OK But for hot drinks, hmm, gotta be a good way to provide a self-heating or heatable (microwavable?) drink pouch for hot coffee or tea (or cocoa?) that makes sure you don’t have, say, coffee grind residue at the end, dregs, of the little pouch. That would not be nice, first think on waking, or during a hard work shift.
Do they already have self-heating pouches for MRE’s and other such, ground or space? I’d think it would be a big plus. heck, could be handy for hurricane supplies or hiking/camping. Or quick meals. There’d be a ready market.
Inner core or bottom or outer wrap? Pull-tab to activate the heating? Or a…hm…reusable cup/container, similar to the foam koozies (sp?) used for drink holders? A thermos bottle-like or bowl-like container? Someone has bound to have come up with this already.
