Just makes you full of energy. No.
OTOH, it seems it’s a good thing to count your pills. I counted mine, seeing the vial looked less than full, and I’d also lost track of my doses, so I counted and subtracted. Walgreen Drug shorted me 5 pills. Doesn’t show that way in their record, but a 28 and 23 look similar to someone filling the prescription, and I know what I have left. They were nice: they’re going to fork over the 5 pills. The really big issue is that you don’t want to stop a prescription short of full time…
I’ve had that happen. One of the area drugstores was a bit notorious for that practice.
And sometimes there are extra pills. So if you don’t count you end up taking more then you need.
For almost two years I took ursodiol, synthetic bear bile, with my meals, trying to treat gallstones. That’d be 3/day, 90/month. Once Costco gave me 30 for a month’s supply, as if it were once per day. They were large, oblong pills, but these fit in a small bottle. It took me a week to figure it out (get pills, (take pill, repeat), repeat) then I took the bottle back to Costco–“there’s no way you could have fit the 90 pills in this bottle”–and they eventually gave me 60 more. It hasn’t worked.
Very true. Glad they’re fixing the problem!
