…for Homura and Momichi’s 2 partners? The first encounter of Bren with those two was in the book where Cajeiri and associates tour Uncle Tatiseigi’s basement.
Ok, friends! I have another one for you. Were there names….

Hi CJ, I started a search last night, they have been mentioned several times and I have so far only found them called partners. On my way this early morning to continue. After shoveling snow the past few days this is a good excuse to relax, I hope you are staying safe with the icy conditions.
Thank you all! I think “I didn’t mention names” is the right answer!
I Kindle-searched everything since 14. Not exhaustively, but I didn’t find anything naming the partners. (BTW: it was “Homuri” in #14.)
Regional pronunciation/naming protocols?
PET scan is Monday. Trying to stay healthy and uninfected by nasty bugs. Hope all the salads are safe, healthy and warm. Had a dust storm with gusts up to 60 mph on Xmas eve, 78 F/25.5 C on Xmas day. Snowed on New Year’s Day with a low of 17F/-8.3 C. (This is in Tx at the same latitude as Casablanca, Morocco, for those playing at home.) See the oncologist on the 24th for results of PET scan and to plan treatment. Move the 27th. (Just around the corner. Won’t even need a truck; just three guys with furniture dollies . . .)
I had a 1987 Toyota Corolla for 27 years called “The Crayola.” My silver 2015 Toyota Corolla is “The Greyola.”
CJ, how about “The Ruby Slipper” for your scooter’s name? (“slipper” can also mean “one who/that which slips.”)
Good luck, WOL! May all the tests come out clean.
Good Luck!
Europe is indeed much farther north than most Americans believe! I’m near Portland, OR, a breeder of rhododendrons, member of the ARS and its local chapter, and now into Iris tenax, so climate often comes up. Portland is at the latitude of Milan, Italy! Edinburgh, Scotland? Try Ketchikan, AK! Americans tend to match by climate, not geography.
People that worry about climate change also worry that melting will shut down the Great Atlantic Conveyor, consequently the Gulf Stream and the North Atlantic Drift, with consequences for Europe, and New England!
I believe I did a thorough job of Protector and Peacemaker – no names there. Perused through the next three – they don’t seem relevant so did not really go any further. Now I want to go back and bring the beloved characters into my life again!
I have been rereading ‘A Creed for the Third Millennium’. The woman was prescient.
I’ve Kindle-searched all of the books since #13/Intruder.
Homuri/Homura and Momichi are mentioned in #14/Protector, #20/Resurgence, and #21/Divergence.
I can find no names for their partners.
Hope this helps.
I think one of them was Keto, but I’m not sure 😉
So, did anyone Kindle-search #14/Protector, #20/Resurgence, and #21/Divergence for Keto, and Ketto, Keti, Keta, Kote, Koti, Koto, Kota, Kiti, Kito, Kita?
I don’t have them on Kindle.
I Kindle-searched all three books for all the suggested variations – found none.
My friends, there is a reason for the 😉 !
Sorry Aja Jin, I’m still missing the wordplay.
Do the known names mean something in Japanese that relates to the keto diet?
Nothing more than the diet connection, and thinking if would make a good Assassin name (no japanese connection). And it has a similarity to Jago.
Haven’t thought of an appropriate name for her partner (thinking Keto would be a female).
I hope it’s not too late to say Happy New Year, CJ!
Nice look for the Wave, I haven’t visited for a while.
I’m reading the series again and I don’t think i’ve seen the lost partners’ names yet, but I’ll look for them in the rest of Resurgence and in Divergence.
Found the guy in Jorida, though! I saw that someone had identified Hurshina. There’s a lot about his stranglehold on the southwest shipping chronicled in Chapter 6 of Resurgence, which I’m enjoying a lot, especially the scenes at Topari’s gaff.
I’m looking forward to Defiance and I send my very best thoughts and wishes for you, this year.
