    Opportunity on Mars — This means we have a very workable, very successful lander design that can be refined for future missions in the Solar System.

    Related: Europa Mission News — From 2015-05-26 (May 26th), a NASA briefing on the latest plans for a multiple flyby mission to Europa around Jupiter, discussing what instruments they plan and what they can detect. A discussion of challenges but good possibilities for detection of what’s there, including precursors for life, or any life, maybe. Also, the difficulty of landing, of Jupiter’s vicinity effects on the mission communications, and sensors, and the difficulty of detecting life. Very informative, very exciting. Projected for around 2022 or after.
