Laying in supplies. And a couple of pies. We start our Christmas decorating on Thanksgiving Day, so I’m not cooking. Bought the pies, boxed stuffing, etc, and we’ll just get along ok.
Christmas, now, we’ll unbend and maybe actually cook. Granted we get some of the stuff done to clear the decks that we want to get done.
My wife’s Dad is getting dinner for the whole family, and my daughter is coming in on Thursday (from New York, first time home from her first real job)!! So things will be good here. Snow and rain tomorrow, but is will miss us. East coast travel is going to be really bad tomorrow. Hopefull everyone will travel safely.
On a different topic, do you have any copies of Peacemaker available ? I read in on Kindle, but need a hardback to add to the others.
thanks and have a wonderful thanksgiving !
I’m sure I do. We’ve been so snowed under that we haven’t even gotten them unpacked, let alone listed, and the house is a mess. Having me unable to walk for a month just fried all plans and good intentions. But if any of you want copies, just drop us an e-mail and drop the usual funds on C-C, and we can manage to get copies in the mail without going through all the forms.
I am about to drive my brand Toyota Corolla at night for the first time. I gotta go to the grocery store, too. It’s an automatic. The trade-in Toyota “Crayola” that I had for 27 years (!) was a 5-speed stick. Learning curve, here we come. The difference in ride (the “Crayola’s” shocks were shot) and sound proofing are amazing. Think this one will be “The Grey Ghost” because reasons. . .
Ah! You take care, WOL, and happy grocery-ing!
Hope everyone has a safe & happy hol. We celebrated this past week-end but are still munching on leftovers. -***************************************
(Heh.) That last bit was courtesy of Taig, the Lord of the Manor, a Birman/tabby mix. He wanted to wish everyone well, too.
Jane and you must not have gotten the Jacquie Lawson Thanksgiving Day cards I sent (they were identical, just sent to your individual email addresses).
I’m a great fan of Jacquie Lawson cards. Have been for years.
