Terrible news…

One of our dearest friends, Mike Briggs, of Mike and Patty Briggs—passed away unexpectedly of a sudden illness this morning. We’re just devastated.

    That is terrible news. My condolences for his wife, what a terrible shock to have her world fall apart so suddenly.

    What a terrible loss. My condolences to Patty, to both of you and all of your circle of family friends (and readers). For the few times I met or talked to him, Mike really impressed me as a good human being. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you or Patty during this stressful time.

    That’s awful. I’ve really enjoyed his posts on Patty’s blog as an independent viewpoint on life with a busy and obsessive author (aren’t they all?) This is going to be so tough on all his friends and family. Deepest sympathies.

    That’s dreadful — I had to sit and wait for a word to show up, I was so flabbergasted. Hopefully someone is helping out Patty; horse farms don’t run themselves, and all their projects must get reevaluated as far as ‘can they continue’. My great sympathies to Patty, and their circle of friends and family.

    Awful. Entirely unexpected; such a blow to his family and his friends. His posts on Patty’s blog were delightful and intelligent and I so much enjoyed them. He will be greatly missed.
