Now it has to be read for things like hte and wehn…but also for places that really don’t make sense.
Jane has not seen the ending. We are headed out to gather a bit of garden rock from a place we know—and to read while we drive.

Isn’t hte a small mountain plant and wehn the name of a favorite dish favored by the Atavi?
Wehn is the high alkaloid alcoholic beverage swilled by working class Atevi!
I’m quite partial to teh, withe, and soem. 🙂
Teh is lovely, as long as the alkaloids are within acceptable levels.
which is why Banichi ordered shibei when he sat down with Bren…….would you drink “Thunderbird” when you could have Latah Creek? 😉
We have safely returned with a load of garden rock, having driven to Dry Falls and back (no, that’s not where we got the rock: that’s a National Monument or something like—) and we are now starting the final edit.
Forsooth, a rhyme:
The travel of the gravel
Was a load on the road
Weighed like lead as they read
Made it home with the tome
I don’t often get in rhyme or meter, but occasionally, it happens.
Well done BCS!
Huzzah!
Ooh! I am so looking forward to the new book. 😀
BCS! The little fishes are the cutest darned things! Jane is laying plans for their use!
😀 grins — You both are most welcome!
Those looked to be more in dollhouse miniature (1/12) scale, rather than Wiishu and Pooki 1/6 scale. Possibly, they start quite mini, but grow quickly?
I saw those while looking for something else, and thought y’all needed them for the kiddoes.
I now have the address handy for future correspondence.
Oops!
Good costume choice. there, Paul. 🙂 Very svelte, too!
Would’ve made more sense if’n I’d changed on the first as usual.
Am I getting caught in a spam filter? I thought I had sent my heartiest felicitations on completion of the book and the expectation that now that Visitor is complete, next week you’ll be busily plotting the next in the series.
Quite right—because to keep our regular April slot, I am having to turn in the next book in October, not next June. This is going to be a mad rush. The good news is, the next book should not be such a technical bear to do as this one has been.
*rubs hands gleefully*
*happy dance*
Eeeexcellent. *taps fingertips*
I am hearing from usually reliable sources there is a new security flaw exploit out “in the wild” in Adobe Flash (so what else is new? yes, again.), the video player you probably use. You should update Flash ASAP. This link may help.
Mamas don’t let your kittens
grow up to be roamers.
Don’t let them out nights
to hunt in the fields.
A couple weeks ago I started seeing a grey and white cat hunting in my backyard. I saw a couple pounces that “gathered no mouse”.
Tuesday morning at 3:07AM I was woken by loud coyote yapping real close. That’s the first time in several years they’ve been so nearby.
Thursday afternoon I took my gopher traps out around my 3A hay field, set five, and while walking the perimeter saw a few little bits of grey and white fur. It shall not come to my backyard again.
