It’s clouded up and rainy. Second rainy day this summer, and it’s on the day I intend to do a job postponed from last year. All dressed up in paint clothes, but no go.

You could always try painting the town red…
That’s the color.
But it’s raining out there.
Ah! A fresh soup and good bread day!
Good soup and fresh bread?
We have nand’ CJ’s humidity, but not the rain. The dewpoint is around 75 degrees, and we actually had fog (technically a very low cloud cover) yesterday morning. It’s leftovers from the latest tropical storm, which went from worrisome to nothing in the space of a day, but those remnants are still coming to us. Meanwhile, we set the air conditioners to dehumidify and try not to melt.
Of course you could save bridge-painting as a group project for ShejiCon V. The quality of the work may be a bit spotty, but it would give us all a great feeling of achievement. A co-operative team-building exercise, eh? I remember those bridges as not precisely the Golden Gate, a few of us could get them painted in practically no time.
I got them, Teasel! Thank you for the thought—
